The Kranjc farm lies at the end of a village situated on a hill beneath the mighty Mount Krn offering wonderful views of the surrounding mountain peaks of the Julian Alps. The farm is also close to one of the most beautiful mountain villages, Drežnica. The rich flora and the gentle musical background created by the multitude of birds provide for an excellent environment for spending quality free-time.
At the Pri Arnejčku farm, they have adapted their services to cyclists and hikers. They are, therefore, able to offer advice on the numerous mountain cycling trails leading to the bathing spots on the Nadiža River, the numerous waterfalls, nearby villages or mountain trails. You can rent bicycle and hiking equipment there. The Alpe-Adria Trail and the Trail of Peace in Posočje pass by the farm.
You can walk to the mountains, among cows, sheep and goats, or to the Koseška korita chutes where you can rest at bioenergy points surrounded by the silence and stillness of a picturesque forest. There is an open-air museum not far away from the farm featuring the remnants of frontline bunkers from the First World War. You can quickly reach Čedad and Goriška Brda by car or take a car-train to Bled and Bohinj. You can canoe, kayak or raft down the emerald Soča River, while the Posočje region is also a paragliders’ paradise.
Guests are offered a diverse buffet breakfast and dinner that are based on healthy food from the garden on the farm and on traditional specialties. You can taste homemade lamb or fresh Soča River trout (Marble trout), sweet drežniški štruklji rolled dumplings and a glass of homemade brandy.
