Between the Soča Valley and the Region of Veneto you can find a lovely village of Robidišče where you can stay at the Škvor Homestead, a recipient of the international Travelife Gold Sustainability Certificate and the Slovenia Green Accommodation Label.
“A touch of history and allure of remoteness” is a thought that goes through your mind when you experience the life in the village of Robidišče. The Škvor Homestead breathed some life into the stone house walls of this almost empty village and made them warm and hospitable. Accommodations are available in three recently renovated and architecturally protected stone houses. Guests can enjoy in local food, which is produced by the owners or bought from local producers.
The homestay offers a variety of accommodation:
- Holiday house Vida (max 7 person)
- Holiday house Benečanka (max 4 + 2 persons)
- Room Rozalija I (max 3 persons)
- Room Rozalija II (max 3 persons)
- Room Rozalija III (max 2 + 1 person)
- Room Vida (max 2 people)
A free range system was adopted to breed animals at the homestead and the use of packaging is being avoided. You can also rent bicycles to explore the surrounding area. Recycling of old is a special passion for the owners. These seemingly small steps convinced the strict judges to award the Škvor Homestead the international Travelife Certificate, proving they are on the right path. They will continue to respect the environment, tradition and cultural heritage and take care for sustainable development of tourism and connect with the local environment.
