In the First World War the Austrians-Hungarian authorities ordered evacuation of the dwellers and the village Čezsoča was exactly on the line between Italian and Austro-Hungarian army. All houses in the village were destroyed.
Pierta Appartment holds a nam eafter mythological female being Pierta. According to a legend Piertas were living in a Pierta’s cave upon the village of Čezsoča, on the rocks of Polovnik mountain.
Entrance to the cavecan be well seen in the autumn, during the winter and early spring, when trees are still without leaves, direct from the entrance into a Pierta Appartment. Piertas were showing around between Christmas and Holly Kings (6 January) and helped to parents to keep children home. Still nowadays a silence during the night in Čezsoča is really silent. Also in other parts of Europe similar beings appeared: Percht or Berchta (Germany), Befana (Italy),Tante Airie (France), Perhta (Czech Republic).

Pierta apartment is located around 2,5 km from the town of Bovec in a close vicinity of one of most beatufil European rivers – Soča, in the center of the village Čezsoča, next to the Restaurant Vančar. Appartment has a separate entrance and a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room with a balcony offering a marvellous view on Kanin and Rombon mountain. Apartment is standardly furnished with all necessary equipment. All areas offer free wi-fi.

The valley of Soča river is called a »Valley of adrenaline«. Not more than 3 km from Vila Korošec you will find activities like: rafting, kayaking , hiking, climbing, mountain cycling, zip-line park, skiing, fishing and water sports are possible. The ski centers Tarvisio and Sella Nevea in Italy are 35 min driving away and the ski center Kanin is 3 km away.
Location is of historical importance. In vicinity was the biggest mountenous battlefield in the history of first WW 1914 till 1918. Next to the building is a model that presents a battlefield between Austro-Hungarian and Italian armies.
There is a restaurant next to the house. Shops, post office, bank and other services are in the town of Bovec.
