This winter season, we can skate on the indoor ice rink in Kanal and on the outdoor ice rink in Bovec.
Ice skating rink Kanal
In the period from December 13, 2023 to February 25, 2024, an ice rink will operate in Kanal. The location of the skating rink is on the playground of Kanal Primary School. The ice rink is covered with a large tent, which served as protection against the weather and allows smooth skating in all weather conditions.
The ice rink is free, skate rental is €3.00 per day for adults and €1.00 per day for children.

- Monday—Friday: 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
During weekends and holidays, catering and an accompanying animation program will also be provided.

The outdoor skating rink will be open from December 22, 2023 at 2 p.m. to February 25, 2024.
The ice rink is free, skate rental is €3.00 per day.

Skating rink on the Šentviška planota plateau
In February, there will be an artificial ice rink on the playground on Šentviška Gora, where young and old can put on skates and enjoy this winter sport.
Ice rink schedule
The rink will be open in the afternoon on all weekends, from February 9th to March 3rd, and it will also be open all week during the school holidays.
To keep you from getting cold, tea and mulled wine will be provided, and you can support yourself with pancakes and hot dogs.
In case of bad weather, the rink is closed.
