Located next to the Small Gorge of the emerald Soča River in the very heart of the intact nature of the Triglav National Park, Kamp Korita creates a boutique atmosphere. Its pursuit of sustainable development resulted in the receipt of the Slovenia Green Accommodation label in the beginning of 2019.
One year before that, the camp received the Ecocamping certificate by the Ecocamping initiative for ecological camping. Their efforts for the preservation of the environment are focused on efficient energy consumption, search of renewable energy sources, promotion of efficient water consumption, avoidance of unnecessary waste, and exemplary recycling. In the future, they would like to expand their offer with local products and services. They also inform their guests and business partners about their ecological activities.
Besides traditional camping, the camp also offers unique glamping accommodation (Trenta tents and glamping villas), two Alpine style cottages, family rooms and a hostel. Simultaneously, the owners are trying to develop a dispersed hotel model. Its distinct features are two fully equipped outdoor kitchens which are available to all guests.
The natural environment of Kamp Korita offers numerous possibilities for outdoor adventures. The camp also organizes canyoning for small groups and yoga on a grassy terrace next to the Soča River, whilst the surrounding area provides a perfect environment for easy or more demanding hikes.
