Autumn in the Soča Valley brings the Hiking and Cycling Festival and two culinary festivals: Jestival and FrikaFest.
When the Soča Valley puts on its autumn colors, a story of movement, flavors, and togetherness begins to unfold among the mountains and rivers. The rhythm is set by the Hiking and Cycling Festival (Sept 19–Oct 12), inviting you to trails full of views and authentic experiences. Every step in nature can end with the taste of local cuisine – between Sept 19 and Oct 12, special Jestival Menus will be available in local restaurants, taking visitors into the world of Kobarid štruklji and other Soča Valley delicacies. Autumn in the Soča Valley is further enriched by two traditional festivals of flavors: Jestival and FrikaFest.
